Top Safety Accreditation for H&C Contracts Ltd.
12th Oct 2012

We are delighted to announce that H&C Contracts has been awarded accreditation from safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.

safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Richard Healey, Director of H&C Contracts commented, ‘We are proud to have been awarded safecontractor accreditation as it highlights our commitment to ensuring our work is of the highest quality in terms of planning, installation and maintenance. H&C Contracts aims to always be at the forefront of industry best practice and this accreditation is a further step in consistently achieving that aim’.

The company’s application for safecontractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. safecontractor accreditation will enhance the company’s ability to attract new contracts and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.

safecontractor is applicable to most sectors although it is particularly relevant to food manufacture, property, facilities management, retail and leisure sectors, all of which are big users of contracted services.

“It is clear that clients do not fully recognise the ever-widening range of services our members provide – nor the increasing role they play in the integration of engineering systems in today’s buildings, especially in relation to the growing trend towards renewable and environmental technologies,” said the president. more...
